
Grossmont Adult School





The Grossmont Adult School was established in 1946 and is part of the Grossmont Union High School District. The Adult School serves the residents of east San Diego County, which includes the cities of La Mesa, El Cajon, Lemon Grove, Santee, and various unincorporated areas. San Diego’s East County, has approximately 500,000 residents according to the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG). The Adult School serves more than 50,000 students annually and provides one of the most comprehensive programs in the state. Available classes reflect the ten mandated program areas and include fee-based community education. Additionally, the Adult School offers three apprenticeship programs, online course work, and academic and vocational programs for all the detention facilities throughout San Diego County.
