​Sierra Joint Consortium Objectives

1. Identify and evaluate the educational needs of adults in the region including current levels of service and gaps.

2. Improve and integrate services and improve and accelerate transitions into postsecondary education and the workforce including aligning assessment/placement, and curriculum.

3. Collaborate in the provision of ongoing professional development opportunities for faculty and other staff to help them achieve greater program integration and improve student outcomes.

4. Alignment of services with other education and workforce providers in the region, including the building of career pathways and the employment of workforce sector strategies pursuant to the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (Public Law 113‐128).



This school is a member of Nevada County Adult Education, Placer School for Adults, Roseville Adult School, Tahoe Truckee Adult Education, Sierra College.
