West Kern Adult Education Network Joint Powers Authority

The West Kern Adult Education Network (WKAEN) is a state-funded program providing support for adult education in West Kern. Since 2014, WKAEN has partnered with various organizations and businesses forming a broader consortium. In the Spring of 2016, the West Kern Adult Education Network officially opened its doors at the Historic Taft Fort with the vision: "The consortium will ensure that all residents have access to sufficient and effective resources, training, and support required to meet community needs for high school equivalency, literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), and citizenship education."
This school is a member of the West Kern Consortium.
