Adult education programs can train you quickly to fill these in-demand positions, and you can expect to earn $22-$27/hour to start, and more than double that as you move along in your trade. Programs include a range of other careers from aircraft mechanics to conservation and forestry. Many adult education programs will pay for your boots, tools and union dues when you graduate.
